Meet Our Dentists

Dr. Chelsi Schumacher

Dr. Chelsi Schumacher grew up in Glencoe, MN as the older sister of three younger brothers. Upon graduating from Glencoe-Silver Lake High School, she received her bachelor’s degree in human biology from the Minnesota State University, Mankato and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Chelsi and her husband Cody are enjoying life in Hutchinson and everything the community has to offer. They have two delightful young daughters and keep busy by working on home projects and playing with their dog Bailey. She enjoys attending and watching Minnesota sports, as well as spending time at the lake.

Dr. Chelsi is a member of the American Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Association.

Dr. Chelsi loves being able to serve and be a part of the community of Hutchinson!

Dr. Wesley Sanderson

Dr. Wesley Sanderson grew up in Maple Lake, MN. After graduating from Buffalo High School, he received his bachelor’s degree in cell and molecular biology from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI.

Dr. Wesley and his wife Malorie enjoy spending time with their families and pursue many outdoor activities. Their summers are filled with fishing and camping, and Dr. Wesley rarely misses an opportunity to hunt with his father in the fall.

Dr. Wesley is a member of the American Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Association.

Dr. Wesley is excited to be part of the excellent team at Echo Family Dental and serve the community of Hutchinson.

Dr. John Gillard

Dr. Gillard grew up on a dairy farm near the small southern Minnesota town of Claremont. He completed his undergraduate studies from Rochester Community College in 1975 and St. Cloud State University in 1977. In 1981, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Minnesota. While in dental school, he received an outstanding achievement award from the International College of Dentists. After graduation from dental school in 1981, he and his wife, Gail, moved to Hutchinson and joined the practice of Dr. Thomas Lyke.

Dr. Gillard enjoys providing a wide variety of dental services in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for his patients. He cares for patients of all ages and offers dental care to meet the individual needs of each one of his patients. Restoring worn smiles that have been damaged by years of use is an aspect of dentistry Dr. Gillard particularly enjoys because of the joy exuded by patients when they see for the first time their rejuvenated smiles.

In his spare time, Dr. Gillard enjoys walking, biking and an occasional run, as well as working on inside and outside home improvement projects.

He has been married to his wife, Gail since 1978 and together they have been blessed with three daughters, one son, and ten beautiful grandchildren.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and the Minneapolis Dental Association.
